BOX creative receives an award for the best code by the Papervision3D community. We are thrilled to share in the progress for innovative use of Flash 3D.

We see great progess everday as developers make fantastic apps and sites. Internet users must be pleased by the depth this technology is creating in their 2D computer environments. We will be at Amsterdam FITC. Please send us emails at hi at box dot biz to organize any meetings and discussions.
Dinners and parties are also on our must have list for our trip in DAM.

BOX surfs the technology and catches the wave before the crowds. Alternativa gives its input and we are now building 3d models that we can use for research and experimentations. The idea of videogames are taking the lead as we have figured out collisions, gravity, speed and physics.

Video games in 3d using Flash is still in the research stages, but we’re on our way to making the dream come true! It is easy for us to envision the many possibilities that it will offer in terms of popularity. Contrary to other 3d technology for video games online like you may know of Virtools 3DS the flash tech is available without downloads of a plugin because already install in most of the computer worldwide.

We have been working day and night on getting the clashOrama.com site pretty and viral. The latest addition is its embed code! Now you can add any “clash” to your website or blog just like you do on YouTube and all of our favorite video sites. Only ours has two videos and poll results!

The NY Photo Festival is offering us the opportunity to experiment a new form of communication in 3d, being the concept of “coverage 3d”. A team of graphic designers, 3d artist, photographers and journalists attend events with the goal to recreate the experience in a 3d Flash online environment. It works beautifully and has been a success!

Because there is truly nothing better than a real street to use as a backdrop to showcase the pictures of the “street style” section of Style.com we decided to present a 3d street of Manhattan where the fashionistas can surf to gather info on their favorite street style looks. Our 3d vision would imagine a street where the 4 crossroads represent the major fashion capitols: NY, London, Tokyo and Paris in one innovative environment.

A dynamic 3d composition like the z stack gallery offers the eye to overview all pictures in one view. We use Papervision3d to write the code of this gallery. We were concerned with it having the feeling and look of a street like composition. Additionally, we wanted it to have a runway like alignment of models for a more efficient reach.

The company makes a step forward in 3d using Flash 8. We figured out how to have the video play on a 3d surface. Magnific development allowing our clients in Mexico to see the site without downloading Flash 9.

Check this interactive mock we made for Condenet that is pointing out the capacity of 3d search. The style.com PowerSearch would have a database of more than 60,000 models from dozens of fashion designers during the last 4 years of Fashion weeks in Paris, London, New York and Milan. It would allow the user to search visually in a very efficient way. The power of gathering objects in 3d space is undeniable as there are 500% more pictures presented this way than traditional thumbnails.
